Authorities have upped the offering for information leading to the apprehension of an Erie man accused of attempting to kill law enforcement officers during a pursuit and shooting in the city 11 months ago. Reward money now totaling $25,000 is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Rakeem M. Jones, the U.S. Marshals Service announced on Monday. Jones, 29, whose case is featured on the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers website, is wanted by agencies including the FBI, the U.S.
