Ben Tawney explains bass fishing Tournament angler Ben Tawney talks about bass fishing in Pennsylvania. Sometimes the big ones get away. But evidently that happens less frequently when you're fishing in northwestern Pennsylvania. Of the 127 submissions that made the cut for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's Biggest Fish of 2022, 51 are from Lake Erie or the inland waters of northwestern Pennsylvania. That includes natural sweeps of freshwater drum, steelhead and lake trout as well as muskie.
